We’re delighted to announce that Cloverleaf have been given a generous grant from Active Calderdale. This funding will allow Carers Count Calderdale to offer Time to Breathe, a programme of exercise and wellbeing sessions for carers we support in Calderdale.
While taking care of a loved one can be incredibly rewarding, caring responsibilities can leave carers with little time to focus on their own wellbeing. Time to Breathe sessions will offer carers in Calderdale a much-needed chance to come together, get active, and have fun – as well as getting a taster of the activities available locally.
All sessions will be free of charge for carers to attend, and carers can attend as many or as few as they’d prefer. Activities on offer will include nature walks in the beautiful Calderdale countryside, yoga, tai chi, Bhangra dancing, and more!
When released, the dates, locations and details of sessions will be on the Carers Count Calderdale website, What’s On – Carers Count Calderdale, and on our Carers Count Calderdale Facebook page – keep your eye out for updates in the coming weeks!
