The group provides a relaxed, supportive space where people with a learning disability can speak up about the issues that matter to them, build friendships and enjoy shared activities like art, day trips, and peer support. The group helps to raise awareness of learning disabilities and implement change across Wakefield.
The group is really friendly and would love to have some new members! It’s £1 to attend – this pays for refreshments such as tea, coffee, juice and biscuits.
