Care Act Advocacy

Care Act Advocates are specially trained to help people understand their rights under the Care Act 2014. They provide support with a range of processes, including care assessments, care reviews, planning, and safeguarding.

They support adults who need care, carers, and children transitioning to adult care services. Their role is to help people who find it difficult to navigate the social care process understand their rights, and ensure that those without someone to speak on their behalf remain involved in their care.

Carers Advocacy

Being an unpaid carer can feel challenging at times, with many different aspects of care to manage. Our Carer Advocates help carers to be more involved and have their voices heard in decisions that affect them and the person they care for.

Carers Advocacy is here to support anyone over 18 in Lancashire who provides unpaid care for a friend or loved one with an illness or disability.

Peer and Group Advocacy

Cloverleaf delivers two services providing peer and group advocacy support in Lancashire: Lancashire Autism Peer & Self Advocacy Service, and Lancashire Mental Health Partnership.

Both services are people-centred and shaped by those who use the services and attend the groups. We work with our self-advocacy groups and hold regular sessions to empower people to be involved, speak up and make a difference.

Lancashire Autism Peer & Self Advocacy Service

Lancashire Autism Peer & Self Advocacy Service provides self-advocacy and peer support to autistic people across Lancashire.

Lancashire Mental Health Partnership
