About the service
Lead the Way is a free service for adults living in Calderdale who have a learning disability and their family carers.
The service offers friendly, one-to-one information and advice on any topic related to learning disabilities. It can also connect you with local and national support services to meet your needs.
Lead the Way holds regular groups and events that can help adults with a learning disability to get involved in health and wellbeing activities whilst making new friends.
The Calderdale Learning Disabilities Partnership Board is co-facilitated by Lead the Way. We want to make sure that people with a learning disability and family carers stay informed and have a voice. We discuss what’s happening in Calderdale, invite speakers to talk about their projects and work, and share information.
