Be Heard! A self - advocacy conference for people with learning disabilities
04/10/2022
The countdown is on for Be Heard - our new event that aims to empower and open up new partnerships and opportunities for adults with learning disabilities across Yorkshire and The Humber.
A dedicated team within Cloverleaf has been working hard behind the scenes to pull in keynote speakers and experts from across the region with the goal of delivering easier access to information and services to those who need them.
Drawing on our experience of working with self-advocacy groups - and with the valued input of our self-advocates and staff with lived experience - we have planned an interactive, informative, and fun day of learning, knowledge, and best practice sharing.
Held at the accessible Mount Pleasant Hotel in Doncaster on Monday 7th of November, we have a limited number of free places still available for those who wish to attend.
We also have a range of sponsorship opportunities available for any professional bodies or organisations that would like to support the event - joining The National Lottery Community Fund, Ongo and MJC LAW as our valued supporters.
