Carers UK state of caring survey 2022
14/07/2022
Carers UK has launched its State of Caring survey for 2022.
Last year over 8,000 carers took part in the survey. The responses helped charities to campaign successfully on a number of issues.
Using carers’ collective voice and evidence:
- to secure new rights for carers in the Health and Social Care Act 2022 in England
- to campaign for cost of living increases in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
- to provide evidence of the need for a right to Carer’s Leave and other support within the workplace
- and to campaign for breaks and funding for social care
There’s still much more to do!
This is the most extensive survey into carers' experiences in the UK. As a result, it may take 20-30 minutes to complete. In this survey, you'll be asked to tell what life is like for you now, and what you feel needs to change.
Your responses will enable Carers UK and other charities - like our Carers Count service - to be more focused in our support and to better communicate to decision makers what really matters to unpaid carers in the UK.
