We are proud to announce that following a successful tender Cloverleaf has been awarded a new service, delivering Independent Health and Social Care Complaints Advocacy (IHCA) in Barnsley.
Commencing on the 1st of April 2024, the contract will run until the end of March 2027, with the option to extend for a further two years.
Independent Health and Social Care complaints advocacy is for anyone who wants to make a complaint about Social Care, NHS or NHS-funded services. This could include care providers, Adult or Children’s Social Care, hospitals, doctors, dentists, pharmacies.
Our team will provide information, guidance and 1:1 support, as well as helping people develop the skills and confidence to advocate for themselves through provision of a self-help toolkit.
Our CEO, Suzi Henderson, said:
"We are excited to add IHCA to the portfolio of services Cloverleaf already delivers in Barnsley, including Barnsley Carers Service; My Barnsley Too, Barnsley’s Disability Equality Forum, and Thursday’s Voice, a self-advocacy network for Autistic adults or people with a learning disability.
We are committed to providing high quality support for people who want to complain about the health or social care services they, or a loved one, have received. Our specially trained staff will work with people to make sure they get the support they need when they need it and that there voices are heard."
