Learning Disability Week 2023
13/06/2023
We're counting down to Learning Disability Week, which runs from June 19th - 25th. This year, Mencap's focus is all about busting myths about what it's like to live with a learning disability.
The 2023 campaign aims to showcase to the world some of the incredible things that people with a learning disability achieve. We want to smash misconceptions about what people can do while shining a light on the stigma many still face every day.
Every year Mencap coordinates Learning Disability Week - the campaign runs from 20th-26th June this year. Cloverleaf is supporting #LDWeek to ensure the world hears what life is like if you have a learning disability and to help:
- Smash stigmas and end discrimination
- Educate and raise awareness about learning disabilities
- Fight and campaign for a fair society
