Lead The Way Retender Success
20/09/2022
Cloverleaf Advocacy is delighted to announce that it has successfully been awarded a new three-year contract to deliver the Lead The Way service in Calderdale.
Following a rigorous and competitive retender process, the well-respected Lead The Way team will continue to provide information, support and advice to adults with a learning disability – and their families – throughout Calderdale. The contract will run until 30th September 2025, with the possibility of two 1-year extensions.
Cloverleaf CEO, Suzi Henderson commented;
“The whole team has worked incredibly hard over the past three years, during some difficult times, to continue to grow the service into what you see today. We would like to take the opportunity to congratulate them all and also send out a thank you to all of the partner organisations for their continued help, support and feedback.
This announcement is great news for Cloverleaf and Lead the Way and offers a brilliant platform to build on the services and groups that are already in place and to continue to offer support across the community.”
Lead the Way has grown organically over the last few years by offering a responsive service tailored to people’s individual needs. A large part of the team’s focus has been around health inequalities and ensuring that people with learning disabilities and their carers have access to the right information.
“We are proud of the service we deliver and as some of our colleagues have lived experience of learning disability it helps us to always think about how we involve people to co-design or co-facilitate what we do. We have built strong partnerships and collaborate well with other organisations throughout Calderdale, and are looking to further strengthen these.” – Karen Graham, Lead The Way Service Manager.
